GW9: Dos and Don'ts

Talk is cheap. Show me the Money. West Ham v Brighton The Hammers seem to be steadily improving as the season goes on and that is refreshing to see. They have kept 4 clean sheets in the last 6 matches in all competitions, with one of them being the crazy 2-3 againsta Spurs. Last gameweek they managed to get a draw in spite of playing a man down -although the way it happened should feel more like two points lost than one gained-. The visitors are having a hard time away from home and we cannot see them scoring in this one as they have only scored one away goal so far, at Bournemouth DOs: Fonte (4.9): Get those clean sheet points Chicarito (7.0): We can see him being the one to break the Brighton bus Gross (5.7): We wouldn't suggest getting him now, but he is definitely an investment for the future at the moment. Bench him if you have him. DON'Ts: Ryan. Can't see him keeping a clean sheet Knockaert. Many jumped on the Knockaert bandwagon early in the seaso...

Doc's GW7

It was Monday night and the sixth Premier League gameweek had just closed. Doc's house was mostly covered in darkness, but one could clearly see the lights of his basement on, with shadows coming and going every couple of seconds. Doc could not believe it. He checked his notepad again and again. He summed his points up in his gigantic blackboard. "Anti-Points" it said at the top. He summed up the points. A minute 17. He really was on to something with this new game. He laughed frantically whispering nonsense. "The Mata choice.. yes yes. Mascherano, perfect... Poor poor Roy..!" His eyes were red since he hadn't slept since the gameweek begun. But it was absolutely worth it. "I mustn't rest now." He said. "I must do even better next week..." He cleaned his blackboard and started writing again. Safe & Easy choices "Palace visiting Manchester again? That's perfect!" Wayne Hennessey CAPTAIN ...

GW2: The LFC Perspective

So, that was expected. Liverpool fail to capitalize and letting in a late equalizer against a team they more or less should have won by landslide? Check. We were half-expecting that, to be honest. Liverpool's defense seems to be a ticking time-bomb every time the ball reaches its third. There is no confidence, no grit, no perseverance. They know they will concede. It is only a matter of how and when. Com'on Joel, don't look so surprised..!  Next league opponent: the formidable Crystal Palace . Let have a look at them. As we've noted in previous entries, de Boer seems to be the correct Manager for a proper club. The league is much better with him instead of Allardyce. But, Palace were the victims of a spanking from Huddersfield last Gameweek and oh, wasn't it beautiful?  De Boer was caught with his pants down by Wagner and it was again proven how unpredictable this league can be (are you reading Chelsea?). Zaha is out injured so it looks like Townse...
