Uefa Champions league Analysis GW4

Before starting, we suggest you get some context of this week's suggestions by checking out our previous gamewek's analysis  https://fantasyopliktos.blogspot.com/2017/10/uefa-champions-league-analysis-gw3.html We'll also need the group tables, as we have now to check which teams have to win or else they will be disqualified. Our legal department notified us that according to  http://uclfantasy.uefa.com/en/fantasy17/rules : Only one transfer can be carried forward to the next matchday This means that in case you had just used your wildcard, you have 2 free transfers. You can leave one of them for the next gameweek but you have to at least use one transfer. Group A DO -MU defense is still reliable ( De Gea, Jones, Bailly, Valencia ). Just check who will start (e.g. Smalling and Lindelof most probably won't start). UPDATED 31/10/2017 10.00 - Lukaku is a goal scoring machine but we expect him to he be rested in the next matches, so it can ...

GW9: Dos and Don'ts

Talk is cheap. Show me the Money. West Ham v Brighton The Hammers seem to be steadily improving as the season goes on and that is refreshing to see. They have kept 4 clean sheets in the last 6 matches in all competitions, with one of them being the crazy 2-3 againsta Spurs. Last gameweek they managed to get a draw in spite of playing a man down -although the way it happened should feel more like two points lost than one gained-. The visitors are having a hard time away from home and we cannot see them scoring in this one as they have only scored one away goal so far, at Bournemouth DOs: Fonte (4.9): Get those clean sheet points Chicarito (7.0): We can see him being the one to break the Brighton bus Gross (5.7): We wouldn't suggest getting him now, but he is definitely an investment for the future at the moment. Bench him if you have him. DON'Ts: Ryan. Can't see him keeping a clean sheet Knockaert. Many jumped on the Knockaert bandwagon early in the seaso...

GW3: The LFC Perspective

"This is Football" screamed Jurgen Klopp to the Anfield Main Stand after Emre Can netted the third Liverpool goal of the night against a lost and overwhelmed Hoffenheim side. That was football indeed and the fluidity, pace and composure of his men screeched of class and determination. He was still reminded, however that his side's downfall will not be its potent attack. I will be his defense, when Uth scored minutes after entering the match as substitute. Liverpool's free-flowing football has been a signature since Rodgers took over, with last year's Liverpool taking it to the next level. The signs are even better so far this season, but having kept one clean sheet in 4 competitive matches will always remind Liverpool that they need to plug their defensive holes if they are to have a successful season. /r/punchablefaces Next up, Arsenal. It is always exciting to play Arsenal. They always play proper football. Almost too proper for their own good som...

GW2: The LFC Perspective

So, that was expected. Liverpool fail to capitalize and letting in a late equalizer against a team they more or less should have won by landslide? Check. We were half-expecting that, to be honest. Liverpool's defense seems to be a ticking time-bomb every time the ball reaches its third. There is no confidence, no grit, no perseverance. They know they will concede. It is only a matter of how and when. Com'on Joel, don't look so surprised..!  Next league opponent: the formidable Crystal Palace . Let have a look at them. As we've noted in previous entries, de Boer seems to be the correct Manager for a proper club. The league is much better with him instead of Allardyce. But, Palace were the victims of a spanking from Huddersfield last Gameweek and oh, wasn't it beautiful?  De Boer was caught with his pants down by Wagner and it was again proven how unpredictable this league can be (are you reading Chelsea?). Zaha is out injured so it looks like Townse...
