GW7: Dos and Don'ts

Better late than never  Said the snotty delivery boy as he presented Reece with his pizza. "You can say that again, its 10 hours late and 8 o'clock in the morning!" He replied. "We're doing the best we can, sir. It has been hectic today." said the young delivery boy. "You mean yesterday" replied Reece irated "It will be 18 euros. Sir." said the delivery boy impatiently. He seemed surprised by Reece's apparently irrational displeasure Reece took his wallet out and payed for his pizza. 10 hours late. He demanded to get the full change back and closed the door to the delivery boy. You cheap bastard! ...he heard him cry as he was walking away. Huddersfield v Tottenham Huddersfield have been nothing sort of brilliant so far but they have not been tested against any of the top 6. They have one win and 2 draws at home against Newcastle, Southampton and Leicester. They managed to lose at the Carabababuwhatisthiscow cup aga

Doc's GW7

It was Monday night and the sixth Premier League gameweek had just closed. Doc's house was mostly covered in darkness, but one could clearly see the lights of his basement on, with shadows coming and going every couple of seconds. Doc could not believe it. He checked his notepad again and again. He summed his points up in his gigantic blackboard. "Anti-Points" it said at the top. He summed up the points. A minute 17. He really was on to something with this new game. He laughed frantically whispering nonsense. "The Mata choice.. yes yes. Mascherano, perfect... Poor poor Roy..!" His eyes were red since he hadn't slept since the gameweek begun. But it was absolutely worth it. "I mustn't rest now." He said. "I must do even better next week..." He cleaned his blackboard and started writing again. Safe & Easy choices "Palace visiting Manchester again? That's perfect!" Wayne Hennessey CAPTAIN

Uefa Champions League Analysis GW2

The first gameweek of the best football tournament of the world has just been completed. This means that unfortunately UEFA champions league is closer to the end (!) for this season. But we have to be strong, try to forget it for a while and focus on the next gameweeks. We'll keep in our analysis the same logic as in our FPL articles, by proposing the best available options to follow and also suggesting players/teams to avoid, and additionally we'll provide an updated 'watch list' section for each group. Group A DO -MU is on fire, destroying any other opponent team. We are strongly in favor of MU defense ( De Gea, Jones, Bailly, Valencia, Lindelof ). Mourinho needed one season to identify any weakness in his team and now MU is ready for a glorious season. - Lukaku is currently the top forward in Europe. Coming just days after Jose Mourinho claimed his value has already doubled since his £75 million signing this summer, Lukaku’s seventh go

GW6: Dos and Don'ts

Doc Daneeka was coming home from the pub. He had quite a few and was feeling a bit tipsy. Beer was always helping him out in tough situations, and this was one. His initial high-end choice for his midfield was De Bruyne. After a horrible start to the season, and just before the City-Liverpool match, he decided to swap him for Mane. After Mane's sent off, he decided to move quickly and bank on Pogba. Pogba got injured, so he decided to trade him for Ali. Ali seems to have forgotten how the game was played all of the sudden. He was desperately trying to find the solution to his Fantasy problems. He walked into his apartment and fell straight to bed. The room was inexplicably moving around him. Numbers and names with it. Suddenly, it hit him. That was it. The differential that would bring him back to the top. The solution to all your problems He decided to act swiftly. He opened his laptop and logged in. He traded Ali for Ibe. With the cash left, next week he wou

The trials and tribulations of Doc Daneeka: A Fantasy fairytale

Meet Doc Daneeka. Doc is a Fantasy Football player. He has been playing any kind of Fantasy Football since he started watching football. At first, he enjoyed picking his favorite players and stacking them in overall leagues. Doc spent his school years trying to convince his friends to play, but they were too obsessed with girls and actual football. Little nitwits -they were missing some fun. When he went to university, he found out that there were students with similar interests-from philately to football. Fantasy football was eventually brought up and now Doc could renew his old passion. He enthusiastically entered a new league -but this time it would actually be exciting; he could banter with his friends and beat them- after all it was his game! So many years of watching football and playing by himself were about to pay up. Alas, this was not the case for poor Doc. It turned out most of his friends, who also watched football -and even some who didn't- would beat him e
